The United States is honoring our Nation's Presidents by issuing $1 circulating coins featuring their images in the order that they served in office.

The United States Mint issues four Presidential $1 Coins each year with Presidents Fillmore, Pierce, Buchanan, and Lincoln being honored in 2010.

This series of $1 coins honoring the Presidents of the United States in the order that they served began in February 2007.   

To commemorate these historic coins, the United States Mint is striking and issuing a set of four Presidential $1 Coins per year in proof condition.  Images of the 13th through 16th presidents appear on the obverse of the first set in 2010.

Each coin has a reverse design featuring a striking rendition of the Statue of Liberty.  

This is the second year with the Newly Revised Obverse and Edge Lettering and fourth year that these sets have been offered by the U.S. Mint.
