2018 American Innovation Introductory $1 Reverse Proof Coin
The 2018 United States Mint American Innovation $1 Reverse Proof Introductory Coin reverse design features George Washington’s signature and the inscriptions “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” and “AMERICAN INNOVATORS.” The stylized gears represent industry and innovation. The design also includes the inscription “SIGNED FIRST PATENT” under Washington’s signature.
The obverse design features a dramatic representation of the Statue of Liberty in profile with the inscriptions “IN GOD WE TRUST” and “$1.”
The edge-incused inscriptions are “2018,” “S” mint mark, and “E PLURIBUS UNUM”.
